Knowledge of how to apply firm pressure to reach deeper layers of muscle tissue, targeting areas of tension and chronic pain. Skill in using slow, deliberate strokes and techniques like cross-fiber friction to release muscle knots and adhesions. Understanding of when and how deep tissue massage is appropriate for clients, as well as any contraindications.
HOT STONE MASSAGE
Expertise in the safe and effective use of heated stones to provide a deeply relaxing and soothing massage experience. Skill in placing and gliding hot areas of tension and chronic pain stones along specific areas of the body to promote relaxation and improve circulation. Awareness of temperature control and client comfort during the treatment.
A low-frequency ultrasound is used to produce a strong wave that disintegrates the fat membranes into a liquid state. This liquid is broken down into two elements. One is oil, one is water and both are processed by the body’s natural mechanisms. The oil content is picked up by the lymphatic system and is taken through the body, through the lymph system and then excreted. The water content is absorbed by the blood and utilised as energy within the body.
Ultrasound cavitation is best for reducing cellulite and adipose fat. This improves body shape and contour and reduces circumference. The treatment is pain free and non invasive, with no down time.
